Do not assume that every property with a pool, beach access or a vacation atmosphere counts as a resort for this promotion. The distinction between a stay and a night is important when comparing travel plans. A longer eligible stay does not automatically multiply the fixed stay bonus by the number of nights. Which bookings miss out on the bonus?
The promotion requires a qualifying paid rate and a qualifying booking channel. Award redemption stays are excluded, including Cash + Points bookings and Free Night Awards. A two-night stay paid with points therefore does not become eligible merely because it meets the length requirement. If you are deciding between cash and points, compare the complete cost of each option; a promotional bonus is only one element of that decision.
Only one room per stay counts toward the member’s eligible paid stays, and certain brands are excluded. For an eligible resort stay, the higher points total may be a useful extra. For a stay that is more expensive or less convenient than an alternative, avoid letting the promotion make the whole decision.
