Flying Blue September travel deals: check your route first
Selected US-Europe Flying Blue Promo Rewards start at 18,750 miles in economy, 30,000 in premium economy and 45,000 in business, each one way and before taxes and fees. Booking must be completed by September 30, 2026, for travel through February 28, 2027. These are starting prices for selected awards, not a promise that every city pair, date or cabin is available at the lowest level. Search the itinerary you want before assigning value to the promotion.
A practical flight comparison begins with the whole journey. Check the mileage price and cash charges for your exact dates, then consider whether the routing fits the trip. An attractive one-way headline does not establish the cost or availability of the return. If the lower price requires dates you cannot use, it is not a saving for your plans. Keep your original travel requirements visible so that a discounted award does not become the reason to take a more expensive or inconvenient trip.
Homes & Villas: weigh elite-night credit against the stay cost
Homes & Villas by Marriott offers double elite-night credits for qualifying stays through December 15. Register and book by September 30; the stay must be at least two nights with a minimum spend of $1,750. Treat these conditions together. A stay that meets the timing rules but falls below the required spend does not meet the described offer structure. Review the promotion and the eligible reservation before relying on the extra credits.
Elite-night credit is useful only in the context of your own loyalty plans. Start with accommodation you genuinely need, then compare the total price, location and flexibility with suitable alternatives. Do not treat additional elite-night credits as a cash rebate. If meeting the minimum would require extra nights or a more expensive property, include those costs in the decision. A promotion can improve an appropriate booking, but it cannot make an unsuitable property or unnecessary trip a better fit by itself.
Best Western: the September 7 booking deadline comes first
The Best Western offer provides a $31 gift card for each eligible stay in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean booked by September 7, with stays through December 31. Registration is required, and the reward is capped at four gift cards per member. The gift cards are valid through March 1, 2027. This is a gift-card reward, not an immediate reduction in the reservation price or an unlimited rebate on every stay.
Before booking, consider whether you have a realistic use for a gift card before its expiration. Compare the hotel’s full cost and suitability without subtracting a reward you might never redeem. Also check that your reservation fits the promotion’s participating-region and registration requirements. A near-term booking deadline should prompt an orderly review of an existing trip, not a rushed purchase. If no appropriate stay is already planned, passing on the offer can be the sensible outcome.
Choose one September travel deal that improves a real trip
Write down the booking deadline, travel window, required spending or mileage, and the reward you expect for the option that fits your plans. Check the exact live terms before committing. Keep flight mileage separate from taxes and fees, elite-night credits separate from cash savings, and gift-card face value separate from what you will actually use. If the deal requires new spending that your trip does not need, reassess it. The strongest promotion is the one that improves an already-sensible travel decision.
