Premium Car Rental Protection gives you primary coverage for theft of or damage to a rental vehicle, plus excess medical coverage for injuries from a rental accident. Enroll your card before renting and pay all rental charges with that card to activate coverage. Liability coverage is not included, and not all vehicle types or rental locations qualify.

Car Rental Loss and Damage Insurance covers theft of or damage to a rental car when you use your card to reserve and pay for the entire rental and decline the collision damage waiver (CDW) at the counter. Purchase Protection covers eligible purchases against accidental damage or theft for up to 90 days from the date you buy them. Pay with your eligible card to activate coverage automatically. Coverage limits apply, so check your benefit terms for excluded items and claim caps.

Extended Warranty adds up to one extra year of coverage beyond the original manufacturer's warranty on eligible purchases. It applies to items with original warranties of five years or less, purchased in the United States or its territories. No separate enrollment is needed — just pay with your eligible card.

Global Assist Hotline connects you to 24/7 emergency coordination services — including medical and legal referrals, emergency cash wires, and missing luggage help — whenever you travel more than 100 miles from home. Call the hotline and they will coordinate services on your behalf. You are responsible for any costs charged by third-party providers.

Use earned rewards directly at Amazon.com or Amazon Business (U.S.) checkout to reduce your order total, or apply them as a statement credit toward a past purchase. Redemptions are applied in whole or partial amounts with no minimum required. Rewards must be redeemed through the Amazon checkout or your American Express account.

Employee Cards let you add up to 99 cards for your team members at no additional annual fee. Purchases made by employees on U.S. transactions at Amazon Business, AWS, Amazon.com, and Whole Foods Market earn the same rewards rates as the primary card.
