Virgin Red Rewards

Earn 60,000 Virgin Points after spending $4,000 within your first 90 days of account opening. You can also earn 2,500 bonus points for each authorized user you add to the account, up to a maximum of four users (10,000 extra points total).

Earn 3 Virgin Points per $1 spent on purchases with Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Hotels, and Virgin Voyages. Pay directly with your card at any of these three Virgin brands to earn at this rate. All other purchases earn at a lower base rate.

You earn 2 Virgin Points per $1 spent at grocery stores, restaurants, on select streaming services, and at EV charging stations. No activation is needed — points are credited automatically. Check the card's terms to confirm which streaming platforms qualify.

Earn 1 Virgin Point per $1 on every purchase that doesn't qualify for a higher earning category. Use your card anywhere Mastercard is accepted worldwide. There's no cap on points earned at this base rate.

Get 5,000 Virgin Points added to your account each year when your card renews. Points are awarded automatically at renewal — no action needed. Use them toward Virgin Atlantic flights, Virgin Hotels stays, Virgin Voyages cruises, and more.

Earn 2,500 Virgin Points for each additional user you add to your account. Points are credited once per new user added. You can earn up to 10,000 bonus points total across all added users.

Purchases made directly with Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Hotels, or Virgin Voyages earn 3 Virgin Points per $1 — the card's top earning rate. The bonus applies automatically at checkout with any of the three Virgin brands, no registration required.

Earn 25 Virgin Atlantic Tier Points for every $2,500 you spend on the card in a calendar month, helping you reach or maintain Virgin Atlantic Flying Club status. You can earn up to 50 Tier Points per month, meaning $5,000 in monthly spend hits the cap.

Reach $30,000 in annual spending and choose two Personal Perks from the same set of Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Hotels, and Virgin Voyages rewards. Each perk can only be selected once, so you'll receive one from two different Virgin brands.

Book two consecutive nights at any Virgin Hotel and get the third night free. Book through Virgin Hotels using your card to qualify. This perk is available once per year.

Reach $15,000 in annual card spend and choose one Personal Perk from Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Hotels, or Virgin Voyages — think upgrades, onboard credits, or similar rewards. Spend $30,000 in the same year and earn a second Personal Perk. Perks reset each anniversary year.

Spend $15,000 in a calendar year and unlock one Personal Perk of your choice: a companion seat or cabin upgrade voucher with Virgin Atlantic, a free night or priority suite upgrade at a Virgin Hotel, or a bar tab or Blue Extras package worth up to $300 with Virgin Voyages.

For every $2,500 you spend on the card in a month, you earn 25 Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Tier Points, which count toward elite status in the Flying Club program. The monthly cap is 50 Tier Points, reached at $5,000 in monthly spending.

Pay no foreign transaction fees when you use your card outside the US or for purchases billed in a foreign currency. The fee waiver applies automatically — nothing to activate. This covers both in-person and online international purchases.

Each year your account renews, 5,000 Virgin Points are automatically added to your Virgin Red account. No special action or spending threshold is required — the points post within one to two statement periods after your anniversary date.
